After one of the rare, gloomy, rainy days in Arizona I saw this sunflower while on a nature walk. It was golden hour and the golden colors shining down on this flower perfectly complimented the yellow essence of the sunflower. I positioned myself so the sun was behind the sunflower in order to achieve a golden glow on the flower and the water droplets. The way I was positioned allowed me to achieve the shadowing in the corners of the sunflower which perfectly emphasizes its texture and balances the image.
