A two-year renovation of the Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix is complete, and the shopping and entertainment hub next plans to add a 13-story boutique hotel to the property.

The $25 million project was started in early 2017 and completed last month, KTAR reported recently. In addition to adding a 60-foot LED Jumbotron screen, it modernized the complex and added "creative work spaces" and outdoor work stations.

There also are two new restaurants: a juice café and a health-foods restaurant. A third, Bosa Donuts, is expected to open in June, KTAR reported.

Next up for the Arizona Center, located on Van Buren Street between Third and Fifth streets, is the AC Hotel, a Marriott property. It's expected to break ground this month and be completed by the third quarter of 2020, Arizona Center representatives told KTAR.
